- 1.Add 3/4 cup cooking oil in pot on medium flame.

- I added half cup of water along with rice and 2 cups after adding rice. I used 3 cups of basmati rice and 2.5 cups of water.
After adding water to rice let it boil once and then check salt and add salt as require at this stage and mix them - Now cover the pot let the rice cook on medium flame for 10 to 12 minutes.
